simple, MS has a deeper pocket than Sony. Sony would not waiste this kind of money when majority of FF fans knows that it'll be on the PS3. JRPGs nowadays has been dying slowly and it is somewhat more for the Asians, which we already know that PS3 dominates the XBOX in Asian countries. Are you serious? You do know that Microsoft doesn't get the whole $60 when a game is sold, right? Publishers only get a small amount of the profit, so 9 Million Gross is not what Microsoft earned. It's more like 2 million or so. Also, Sony owns 1/3rd of SquareEnix, so M$...
