I played the Battlefield 3 beta on PS3 and it looked like crap, and was the worst thing I've played this generation.

Sorry to tell you this but the differences between both the 360/PS3 versions are not even worth talking about. I've seen comparison videos done by gametrailers and botH look the same. I'll take one disk over 3 thanks. Both versions look the same to me, I own a PS3/360 and I still ordered the PS3 version.

I blame the decline in a lot of Japanese developers, they are simply not keeping up with Western developers, their are a few like From Software who deliver the goods, but Capcom, Square, Konami, pretty much piss poor this gen in comparison to what they put out last generation.
No it's a mess, how can you say you're not reviewing the base game then give it 5/10 for gameplay. And give the game 10/10 for multiplayer when it has no multiplayer.
Sorry to sound cruel but this is a joke of a review. He also doesn't even know this is a HD version of the Gamecube game and assumes it's some sort of remake saying the gameplay hasn't changed much. It's the gamecube version in high res that's why.
I don't think that means anything really. We never saw Crysis 2 or Rage on PS3 until a couple weeks before release and they are more or less the same as the 360 versions
I'm not worried about the gameplay, I think they've refined it to where it's more or less as good as you can expect in a game like this, for this generation. What I am worried about is the story, I found Oblivions main quest to be very dull story wise, what saved it for me was the Dark Brotherhood side missions.
If Skyrim has a crappy main story it's going to put a big dent in this game for me.

I agree with your review, but I don't think the story was memorable, I think the story was average but the way the characters delivered their lines was a step up from other games.

You don't seem to understand what a game review means. You can't review it and leave the actual game out of the review. This is honestly one of the worst reviews I've ever read, it's such a confusing mess.
I think Resistance 3 is the most enjoyable FPS I've played this year. I love playing team death match, it's just mad with everyone running around with these crazy weapons and abilities. It's not the most sophisticated FPS out there, but it's a lot of fun and that's all I care about.
I will be playing Rage next week, but without a FPS based multiplayer (racing?) I don't think it's going to top Resistance 3 for me.
Why didn't Digital Foundry mention that if you have a SSD, (solid state drive) in your PS3 that Rage performs way better than the 360 version?.
