For me personally I'm done with Xbox. I've had nothing but problems with Xbox hardware and controllers. I've had to replace multiple Xbox consoles, 360 twice and an Xbox One twice, including an X version that bricked. I've never had any serious issues with PlayStation. All I need going forward is a PC, PS5, and my Switch.
I used to think that until I put on my PSVR headset.
I've had PSVR for a month now and have been blown away at how much fun it is. It's simply incredible. I was thinking about getting the Vive for Steam to se the difference and now this game announces. Day one for me!!
For me it always seems that most game develops are stuck playing in a very safe sand box while Kojima is across the street painting like Bob Ross.

Ya I call BS on this too. After I was having trouble loading I went to see if Youtube streamers were playing or not. The VAST majority were experiencing the same problems. He makes it sound like it was isolated incidents.
Pretty rough start to be sure, but what I've played has been fresh and is a lot of fun. Been spending most of my time in freeplay gettting used to the controls and checking out the environments. Pretty sweet. Also, I can confirm that the fix described in the article did work for me. Thanks for posting!
Looks like a good size, but I also think about the verticality of the game. Theres more there than just a 2d sprawl.
I'm 40. The older I get the more I prefer coop or single player games. I like the escape of exploring a world at my own pace and getting lost in the immersion and the story.
Great game. Can't stop playing it. Lots to do and areas to explore. The beginning is a bit rough, but it's a survival experience = to be expected. Flaming arrows ftw.
Guess you could call it a "remasterpiece".
Game is fun. Tried the beta last night with my 12 year old who doesnt know about all the stuff surrounding konami and kojima. He loves it. So nice to see that geniune joy and fun playing video games. Despite all the hate surround this title we are both going to get it and have a great time together.
Steam gets most of my money as it's my 1st platform of choice, but this year the PS4 offerings are going to destroy my wallet. State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves I'll be getting on PC and I'm guessing Crackdown 3 will be DOA, so it's not even close for me: 2018 is going to be a HUGE year for Playstation.
How is $30 for 6 months of Live a deal? Isn't it already $60 / year ?
I've uninstalled Origin. It will never go back onto my PC.

It's going to be funny when they have different versions. It'll be like X Box Series X One , X Box Series X Two, Oh and then the upgrade version will be the X Box Series X One X and when they upgrade that it'll be X Box Series X One X Version X. Sweet!
