It's not about hating Tomb Raider. Pretty sure people don't like shady, anti-consumer business practices and treating your longtime fanbase like complete garbage. It's less about exclusivity, but more about the Don Mattrick-style blog post from Darrell Gallagher that was a huge middle finger to their Tomb Raider fans on PC and Playstation.

Exactly. I was finding it physically hard to do simple tasks like turn around or go around the corner for fear that their would be "something" there. Some about it really was incredibly immersive, like you said a true "mind f**k". Awesome.

These trailers are for the MGS fans. If you are a fan of the series you know there is some of this silliness built into the game. I loved it and so did everyone in the Twitch chat. If was freaking hilarious! Only Kojima can mix seriousness and silliness and it all seems to make sense. He has an interesting brain I can tell you that. He does things in games others would never even think to try e.g. telling your horse to poop on the rode which then causes the enemy jeep to spin out render...
