Ill use Steam when they sell games that is exactly like buying the retail copy in the store. Which means WITH NONE OF THE UPDATES ALLREADY INSTALLED. Bought gta iv and steam version is the worst for mods because it came with the latest update. I don't like companies controlling what I want to do with my game.
These enb graphics mods have reports of corrupting gpus on nvidia. I stopped messing with it.

I just started using steam and bought 2 games recently. GTA:SA and GTA IV which I just wanted because of how great mods for those games are. Steam has been terrible so far. You are limited to what you can do with a game from steam while a retail digital copy will have no issues. Steam has made modding a misery. the disc version is basically ssf4, it will show in your trophies list as ssf4 and just add the new AE trophies.

You people love to talk about microsoft so much. I had a ps3 since 2006. In all those years I went through 2 ylod which happen to me every 2 year cycle. Then I bought a slim and in the same month it got some corrupt data thing that didn't allow it to enter xmb. Now with my 360 which I got in 09 i have had 0 problems with it, but my sister who has had her 360 since 05 has had 2 rrod. god of war wasn't remade. that collection was terrible. because of that one game I will never buy a hd collection on ps3 again. GoW collection didn't even bother fixing the cut-scenes or the CG to HD, and the game was just 720p.
Most of the mods Don't work on Steam version of GTA IV. Don't waist your money like I did.
