i was under the impression that to finish a game you had to actually finish everything. not just the main mission, wich really is just a first mission in gz.
After not playing a metal gear for so long this was such a fresh experience. I got a nice cool drink and sat down. I started to tweak the game to my liking when i ended up at the tapes i just put it on play and started to listen to the tapes. such great voice acting and the great music playing in the background. It really adds to the story of metal gear without hurting it.
you can get it somewhat early online but then you forfeit the extra mission and nice art on the case. either way its a very fun game and replay value is is strong for this tittle.
It's a fair size i was flying around on the chopper just tearing stuff up, the game felt big their is so much to blow up and different ways to blow them up, a considerable amount of weapons. I beat it in 2 30 hours i had a bit of trouble on some hard missions i can tell you right now just doing them on hard for some people it will take at least 4 hours with all the continues hahhaha. im at 35% with about 3 hours in, hard mode and dlc mission not completed yet.
playing it right now, the game really could have done some damage with everything snake is able to do. For a short game it certainly doesn't feel like it.

i cant believe gamers like you exist, kojima has been innovating with every single game he has released for every generation since nintendo and has evolved with the rest of the games from 2d to what you see now. I cant justify the pricetag but i can say that almost every metalgear game has always offered a bit more when it came down to game mechanics and character actions. Paired off with great story usually its worth it. support it even more if you own a xbox.
yes armored core anything is pretty awesome, they became stagnant because they never really changed but for some reason COD got away with it. So yeah Most of the new AC games are completely revamped but its still probably the most complex mech game i have ever played.
kojima always pushes the mechanical and technical aspects of video games. In his games the character you play with can do soooooooo much more than just run and gun stab. sliding was just barely added to COD i mean... come on. Campaign.. well the metal gear story has more plot twist than any other game i have played.
Hideo is a genius, they didnt plan to seperate mgs5 but im willing to bet they were almost finished with tpp when they were like why not just release a prologue! kojima has been extremely motivated to match rockstar and naughty dog so im pretty sure this was also a attempt to get the latest engine out to the public for the jpn early adopters and to make the game just as big if not bigger than a gta game, let alone metal gear online will also come out for tpp and has also been in development ...
it wasnt just money, kojima has stated several times that it was also part of a fan service. they lowered the price, its not just two hours, he mentioned this pretty mus=ch wont happen again and it wasnt some planned scheem to suck our cash. get over it bro mgsv is going to be awesome.

from what i get out of it i feel as though it was just the 3ds fanboys downplaying the handheld. saying it has no games it is completely close minded because the 3ds also has no games?, you could compare nintendo's 1st part games like mario/pokemon vs something on the vita like...... actually you cant and thats why i think people say it has no games.
