I will buy a PS3 when it sells for 280$ or less. Maybe SONY does not need a price cut but I do.
400$ is a bit too much to play Infamous and LBP. The other games I would want on PS3 I can play on PC or 360. And it is also too much for a Blu Ray player that does not come with a proper remote control.
However, when it gets below 300$ I plan on getting one, installing Ubuntu on it and boot into XMB occasionally.
I still want more L4D and I don't care if I have to pay every year.
The day Valve publishes a bad game my money will speak. I doubt L4D2 will be this bad game though.

actually, I can see Forza 3's trailer is more compelling than GT5's.
The graphics are slightly better on GT5 but F3 shows compelling gameplay where GT5 shows cars looping...
I am not a fan of racing sims and I am much more likely to enjoy games like Blur or ModNation than F3 and GT5.

Exclusives are just "bread and games" for the drones.
Judging from what they show, you could have yourself scanned with the driving wheel peripheral of your choice in your hands and use that as a controller.
I don`t see this as much of a thing for gaming aside from Jedi gimmicks.
The real deal comes from logging you on instantly when it recognizes your face or scrolling through the UI with simple Obi Wan gestures.
Voice recognition would be great if it can "Lauch Castle Crashers" when I say so an...
