Any chance to throw in Penny Arcade is a good one. See: my avatar.
Great article. Good perspective from a point of view most people ignore.
Some people just don't know the difference between first- and third-person.
Sad.
Greatest picture ever!
Customizable killstreaks and leveling up perks? As if the original wasn't addictive enough. I'm so stoked for this.
Can I just say, excellent picture?
Good for them.
Some pretty scary stuff in there!
Oh, Sony. Always so delightfully deluded...
So much for the game that was supposed to be a WoW killer.
I'm curious about the community as well. Are there good sites going up dedicated to it? Is there enough high-level content in the game yet?
Wait, not everyone in Korea is good at Starcraft?
Nothing from Battlefront? Those games were epic Star Wars experiences.
Terrifying...
Looks like an interesting premise. Have to wonder how a mature take on something as kid-friendly as Mickey Mouse is going to fly, though.
Jealous, can't wait for the game.
was awesome. Force Unleashed was passable, but the rest of the games definitely turned out to be duds, especially in light of the hype associated with them.
Though Tekken 6 and COD are probably my most anticipated. I'm also looking forward to some zombie bashing in L4D2, as well.
This guy is absolutely right on about Crackdown, Saint's Row 2, Red Faction: Guerrilla, and Tales of Vesperia. It's sad when unfortunate release dates or overwhelming competition keep great games like these under the radar. Fortunately a few of us saw them for what they were.
The system had some awesome games, hence the article, but I was referring mostly to the sales figures for the systems:
# PlayStation – 102.49 million shipped, as of 31 March 2005
# Nintendo 64 – 32.93 million as of 31 March 2005
Outsold 3 to 1, I'd say the PS1 was the runaway success of the generation.
