I don't get it. Minecraft was never exclusive to Xbox.. it was ported to it. You can play Minecraft on almost any device so why someone can't live with another port release?
Is there no other game on Xbox to be jealous about, and jump all over internet screaming "You can't play this!! ha ha!!"
There was absolutely no information about this blockade prior to PS3 version premiere.
I would never buy pS3 version knowing that i will not be able to transfer all by data after upgrade.
This is not the way to gain more fans EA, and You don't have too much fans to begin with.
I hope EA will fix this. It would be cheaper for me to wait and buy PS4 version than to buy PS3 version -then- upgrade -and- buy China Rising AGAIN!

Yes. No paywall more people will play... game will be more popular, so more money from DLC/items/exp boosters etc/horse armor/.

About publisher getting something - i don't know more support from sony, servers, drugs ;)
Destiny will probably require PSPlus to play. Its not that bad.
PS+ is not required for online play in every game.
Warframe (f2p co-op online) - not required
DCU Online (f2p mmorpg)- not required
Blacklight Retribution (f2p grindfest fps) - not required
Final Fantasy XIV (pay2play MMORPG)- Ps+ not required

To be honest i don't care anymore about FF series. What they did to it its just sad. Instead making some good sequels they just cutting corners for more money. That's just sad.

Ok, some facts from Poland. First of all it's not in game engine. Thorskan is 3D scan technology created by Polish software dev Better Reality for movie studios like 20th Century Fox. This scan engine is used by Farm 51 for scanning, not for in game display. What You can see in the video is scan preview/techdemo. All scans are downgraded in polygon/texture detail to be used in-game engine by Farm51.
