Although I couldn't get into the witcher 3, I have massive respect for the developer for the post game support and free dlc. First Day one game for me for years
"Constantly needs upgrading" This is a matter of taste and at least there is an option. Unlike consoles holding back the next generation by offering games for ps3 and ps4. Or the alternative of an abandoned console after a relatively short lifespan such as the Wii u
