Pc still gets most of the big titles announced at the Microsoft conference...
Just look at the crowds overall reaction during the conference...the only time they were really excited was when the gears logo showed up ^^ and were briefly feeling trolled after it was gears pop...but fortunately gears 5 was announced. It was a good show in pacing but they really showed more of the same exclusive wise. Gears halo Forza....at least there is ninja theory now who gives hope to ms fans to deliver some a good exclusive title in the near future.
You do realise that game pass is not a streaming service and I don't think that Microsoft will change that concept. On the other hand I don't understand how everyone is saying that ps now bad latency. For me and I think the majority it works just fine and I'm at the "lower" end of internet speeds with just an 30mbit connection and I think their game library is really good. And how can people say that a slow internet connection is a disadvantage for ps now but not for gam...
It's not a qte game...it's just not a typical game where you run around and shoot things if that is what you prefer. Detroit is an interactive story...imagine reading a book and you could alter the way characters do things and make decisions for them and you could change it everytime you read it again...or more like a movie where you can change the course of action. Unfortunately they listen to their fans and with that I mean their hardcore Xbox fanboys who don't see that ms doing nothing for their platform and still praising the shit out of them on what a good job they are doing. So that's why they are pulling one halo and Forza after another. MS should definitely get some new ips instead of milking their halo and Forza cow till it's dry. They really missed an opportunity when they canceled scalebound for ever what reasons that they did.

why should sony release a new console with their current state that they are in? The Xbox One X was just released last year so there will be no new competitor for sony any time soon. And even with the more powerful One X Sony still dominates the market. Sony just needs to continue what they are doing now...investing and trustting in their first party studios to keep delivering amazing games like they are already doing.
with the current state of game development its almost impossible to bring up new games every year. Red Dead Redemption for example is already 8 years in the making and the reboot of god of war took its time as well. At least sony is capable of showing their progress with games announced last year unlike MS who has nothing in store really. Just the contrary...it's "open world" design helps the story expand. Without the backtracking and treasure hunting you wouldn't get all the Sidestorys and lore. All the conversations while they are sitting in the boat or walking in the realm between helps driving the story and world building forward. You can rush through the game in no time at least on lower difficulties but you would miss a lot like all the nice little stories mimir had to tell. Or the ones kratos tells abo...
These are noo "major" improvements to the xbone s...especially considering you are sitting few feets away on your couch...and in the heat of Battle you will hardly notice these differences...paying 500 for a small visual upgrade is just too much...i will stick to my xbone s.
It is shipped with planet earth 2 (which is amazing btw) but its no game...games define the worth of a console and so far ms lacks exclusives and playingnold refurbished games wont do the Trick
They didnt make a mistake. It was clear from the moment of the announcement of gt sport that it wont be a gt7 and that they wanted to make it more of an esport competetive type of game. If they would have said otherwise then i would understand the complaints but people always knew what they will get with gt sport. So reviewing this game for something that it isnt is just wrong. like the article said...its not just about hardware...take a look at games like journey or horizon zero dawn or the uncharted series. now name me one game from team MS that comes close to these experiences...it mostly depends on the developers what they can do with the hardware....visual experience was never dependend on higher resolution alone. framerate is important too and the overall design of a game
there could have been great potential for games with kinect...but microsoft just threw it out back when the wii came out and they needed something to compete with motion controls. People just don't get it. GT Sport was never supposed to be GT7 or any game like its predeccesors. It was clear from the beginning that GT Sport will be more of a competitive online racing game and everyone just compares it contentwise to GT6 GT5, Forza etc. It seems like everyone just wants more of the same instead of something new. Haha just take a look at the pit stops...even old NASCAR games had a pit crew at least. I admit it looks really good but its still a bit stale compared to gt sport. And imo the whole package of forza horizon 3 looks better than forza 7
In Sony's defence...they have already published so many games in the last few years where as Microsoft left a big void for their fans.
