I wasn't aware that anybody disliked yahtzee
roflcopter at least current players get to play for FREE
I can see why Miyamoto gravitated this way. Nintendo has been catering increasingly towards casual gamers, and lets face it, casual gamers don't like the pressure of competition. Whether Wii Music will succeed or not really depends on the gameplay because I can see the causal gaming crowd eating this up.
This is a pretty convoluted story, but with the final update, I'm going to have to say it looks like bad news for Flagship either way. Hopefully, if the story ends up as the title suggest, a single consolidated developer can streamline the IP and add good significant content. This is perhaps the only way that Hellgate can become the game it was hyped to be.
It's official, Halo 4 is coming... but why?? Haven't they learned? CoD 4 is far superior. Halo 4 better have some awesome MP to compete with the fps following cod 4 has.
Really no surprise here. EA is the largest gaming conglomerate out there and it dominates with its corporate development and marketing. With all their pull in the market due to their size, they can get things done that other publishers can't. If EA is the large Goliath, Vivendi is the David with rocks in his sling that can destroy planets. With Blizzard carefully doling out hit after mega-hit there is no question these guys have the market fully and completely dominated.
AoC may be great but there's little chance of it ever becoming THE mmo, like WoW. WoW is too polished and established. There's no way AoC or EVE or LOTR online or any other upstart mmo can compete. The only way WoW loses is if they stop adding content, and that doesnt seem to be happening any time soon...
yea I attribute PS3's spike in sales to MGS4 but I do see PS3 staying on top of Wii. The only reason Wii has sold so much is because it appeals to so many casual gamers and non-gamers. Think old-folks homes where ppl play Wii golf like crazy. Maybe once PS3 builds a killer library of games it will overtake 360, but the online interface for PS3 doesn't hold a candle to Live so it's doubtful. 360 wins this generation.
