PS4 is well capable of it, it reads the PS3 discs from the $10 upgrade promotion. Sony could add it in with a patch if they wanted but i guess they would rather feed us all these remasters instead.
Why don't they just go ahead and remaster every god damn PS3 game while they're at it...
