What kills me is the announced dlc for mk. The new fighters and all that could have easily been released with the game so I do agree.
I learned that sometimes it's good to rush through a game, sell it and buy the game of the year version later with the included dlc.
In regards to map packs, I guess if people put in alot of time with the mp, like I did with both cod:waw amd mw2, then it ends up being worth it. It's $3 per map and you put almost ten hou...
More is better and none of it is mandatory so I don't understand how it could be "killing" gaming. I game more now than I ever did.
Bubbles - I think of the major everytime I look at that picture
I think he was joking. Not sure though.
To be fair to them, since they publicly came out loving the ps3, they haven't released any new games. I think L4D2 came out two years ago and that was before Newell said that.
I was hoping for a L4D port with both games and dlc for $60 as a sign of faith but perhaps that day will never come 8(.
I've been playing through 4 again off and on and love it. I need to take breaks though because it is kind of repetitive but nothing beats driving around listening to the radio stations.
After the opus that was Red Dead, I'm eagerly awaiting GTA 5.
@jjo - hell yeah it is. i meant to play the mp for 20 minutes on day one and two hours later i needed a break - the nanosuit makes it
Yes that would be awesome. Making a game that acts as a third season to Stand Alone Complex would be awesome. The nanotech suit in crysis 2 made me realize how bad I want a gits game the other day.
Fair enough. I was just rebuking the argument that with pcs you can't game from your couch which is false. I game on my xbox because well, It's there.
Disagree all you want, we're on the same side..
I just watched Red Cliff - the two part movie based on the romance saga and now I can't wait to play this game even more.
Repetitive or not, this game will be awesome.
so duke nukem causes people to commit rape?
it's not even out yet.
kind of jumping the gun.
Yeah for a while I had my pc hooked up to my 40" hdtv. With a wireless keyboard, mouse, I was sitting pretty on my couch. Now, substituting a steady desk top for my jittery lap is a different story
so I mostly game on xbox as I am with this game.
That threw me off at first too but I got used to it after awhile.
Theres a specific reloading perk that makes it feel normal, at least when compared to it's peers.
I set my controller senst to 40% 'cos I felt the character moved to fast.
These make the game easier to manage. Not to say it wasn't user friendly to begin with though, just that it's now to my liking.
I never thought I'd be such an EA loyalist but man they've seen ALOT of my cash lately ( and on Tuesday).
I've owned all of those - lol.
Why not settle for both? They come out a diff times of the year. I need to see one of these in action before I take the plunge but I'm def curious.
I'm pretty sure with future iterations, these controversies will be tweeked, perfected and everything will be as right as rain.
Kind of want one now though....
Got this game the day it came out and I still play it. It's a great time killer.
There needs to be more srpgs.
His list of qualifiers for why most people would dislike the game are what make this game so refreshing. My apologies if it isn't a new michael jackson dancing game or angry birds.
If someome made a rant article about every negative ign review, thw site would crash. Not sure how this got approved.
That said, the review is terrible and he looks like bilbo baggins from the animated hobbit movie from the 80s.
Yeah that's what I did it for too - oh well
I love it when enemies run into a car, get stuck and run in place. Makes for an easily kill.
At first I was WTF and now I love it.
