The infamous infiltrate demo. I want to see more of this game, other environments and such from the looks of it this new game engine should shine no matter what kind of terrain/atmosphere they throw at it.
Can't wait to get my hands on Silent Hill, looks great and the psychological tech they're employing should make for harrowing experience.
When it launched I really had no idea DSi would be such a sales juggernaut. And with all the great new carts on the way and the big publishers all announcing plans to release DSi Ware in the coming months I doubt sales are going to slow anytime soon.
That said, Japan is still getting all the great colors. When is NA going to get some bronze love?
DVD/Blu-ray controller yes, but aside from the PS3 I think generally systems do come with a game. An extra controller definitely should be included the top tier of every console should come with that, a light gun and a little robot.
I think it will be remembered more for motion control. with solutions for Microsoft and Sony coming I think that the groundwork laid by Nintendo will be remembered as this form of interaction's tentative first steps.
Great article, I tend to be a person who enjoys making my own fun and the rise of games where users either contribute in the form of content or gameplay has been one of my favorite parts of this generation.
You'd think they would have sent a review guide and embargo information with their email, just to make sure GGG was indeed aware.
Very sensitive situation, I tend to lean on the side of caution on things like this. Better to swallow your pride and maintain good standing with a publisher than to stick to your guns and possibly have them blacklist you.
In the end you could always re-post the article/review once the embargo is lifted.
I do wish Bungie could find some way to load the game faster, much like Halo 3 proper, it takes far too long to get from dashboard to gameplay.
Seriously, slow down the hate train folks.
Another great article, keep em' coming!
I'm playing it for review right now and while I can't get too detailed due to embargo I will say I am enjoying the game quite a bit. It's very much Halo but at the same time not at all like any previous Halo.
One of my favorite achievements was not really an achievement at all. After finishing the first mission in inFamous for PS3, by way of an on screen prompt the game explained that due to my skill level the difficulty would be switched to hard.
While there were no points awarded and no audible chime, this virtual pat on the back was a boost to my ego and incredibly rewarding. If more games were able to integrate awards in similar ways, perhaps Achievements would become less import...
From everything I have seen and talking to the devs, Brink the upcoming game from Bethesda and Splash Damage seems like it may be a contender for the crown.
Yeah I am really starting to feel some zombie fatigue. Apparently there are still more zombie games to come.
And it's the only console ever to lose features with every single iteration.
Since they dropped the price of the previous models as well, I would love to see a breakdown showing which consoles they are selling more of.
If Sony ever able to get Netflix support things will get very, very interesting. My 360 is living a double life as game machine/Netflix movie box.
Seems that way, the NPDs put them just behind the 360 for the first time in 8 or 9 months
Folks have been saying the peripheral feels cheap, what did you think?
