Mcsft is working on a handheld friendly windows. Why many may prefer windows is the compatibility with pretty much every PC game and application. SteamOS is great don't get me wrong but a good number of companies are implementing anticheat and other things that make the game difficult to impossible to run on linux.

Usually because it's footage just not ready for the public yet, to build hype, and get feedback from influencers. They don't want to show footage that looks horrible else they'll be absolutely cooked for it lol.

Lets you know we basically have a portable ps4.5
Dlss will definitely help too. Quite excited how Nintendo's future 1st party will look and perform especially zelda and xenoblade. And we can finally say goodbye to a lot of games built for 720p finally as Nintendo is always the one behind in hardware power for the whole games industry.

It's still a wonder how this studio's been able to avoid EAs nonsense. Hope they keep it that way.
Funny that when a publisher doesn't force a dev to make crazy deadlines, implement terrible monetization, force ideas and follow trends, a good game is actually made 🙄. It's also good they're a smaller company that aren't overambitious and overwhelm their workforce.

Square I know how to do it. Bring back legend of dragoon, make turn based mainline ff again, keep DQ traditional. Easy money right there.

Yes yes yes. Square for some reason still don't see the appeal of turn based despite many games and indies do so well. Really baffles me.

Makes sense as the map came out way too quick after launch lol.

Oh yea that game lol.

I mean AI isn't all bad in video games, development can go faster and as long as it's within reason.

Unlesss you're a multibillion dollar company like Activision so it's definitely inexcusable especially for a top seller like COD lol. Obviously they don't care as the games will still sell millions, they've been reusing assets for who knows how long. Just tweeks here and therem

As long as these handhelds can play the console versions then sure. If Sony and Microsoft were to make handhelds that could only play games that were developed only for the handheld, then we'd just have another vita situation. The Wii struggled at the end of its life and the wii u struggled it's whole because the handheld just outperformed them so well. Their developers should only focus on one platform of theirs and port them to the handheld, as we can see devs already doing for the ...

A new modern game that stales in comparison to the older games? Seems about right.

PC hardware is very expensive and taxing on power. It'll be a while til a steam deck successor is needed, I would say the deck we have has another good 3+ years as it still runs current AAA games fine. Most games nowadays are indies anyways. If you really want an upgrade, plenty of other handheld PCs, however at higher prices.

Hopefully a 60fps mod eventually too. Hopeful that the modding community will do what rockstar refuses to do.

From the OG treyarch team with World at War to BO3, zombies was amazing. Epic easter egg hunt storytelling, alien weapons and technology, addicting progression and just killing zombies was what made it fun. It was one of those great roguelikes before roguelikes became so popular. It was something that was built on for many years and generations. Unfortunately it's gotten downhill after bo3 though as many key members from treyarch have left. Very generic now imo.

I just hope sony won't require psplus to play online eventually as well on pc. Can't wait for GoT. Have always preferred ps trophies out of every other achievement system out there. Gotta love that ding you get when you earn one lol.

Idk. Loot boxes did disappear and battle passes and in game purchases are all cosmetic. We get free weapons and maps post launch, any gameplay affecting content. I could care less about all the cosmetics.
I absolutely hated the days where weapons were locked behind a less than 1% chance lootbox pull where it'd take 5+ hours to have enough tokens to do a single pull and lazy remastered/remake maps cost you $15 each wave or $50 for the season pass that you didn't know what you...
