Basically Bungie is finally free to explore what they can really do with PS3. Once they tinker with PS3's hardware, they will sh!t on themselves when they can finally develop a game in TRUE 1080p and not 640p resolution. Not to mention 32+ players online. Something that Halo can not do on 360. Bungie realizes the potential in PLAYSTATION 3 so they ensured they freed themselves to maximize their creativity.

So what it doesnt have Backwards compatibility. PS3 is future proof so it can be added on later through a firmware update. If that doesnt work, then we can simply install Linux and run a PS2 emulator through that. It's that easy people. Sony knows how to protect themselves for the future and get the best out of their tech hardware.
