The only thing it raised the bar is how it makes you feel like you fooling around not getting anywhere or any real sense of progress.
An aimless sandbox.
Never have I felt an open world game so empty yet so bloated in my life.
Sad that this kind of success meant that the team can only go open world for the sequel.
As Nintendo just won't allow any other way.
Hope they can balance this out next time but I doubt it, maybe outside dev took a chance at classic style hub world Zelda game instead but the main team stuck doing open world Zelda.
Are they going to have another showcase very soon or something because this one felt really rushed through, 3rd party did most of the heavy lifting and I'm not interested in most 3rd party stuff shown here.
The highlight for me was Revenant Hill from creators of NITW and of course MGS 3 it just only a teaser.
What are they cooking at Playstation Studios what's taking them so long?
I'd say R&C is such an underrated franchise the Insomniac developed R&C titles were always took full advantage of the hardware and the best part is they're all very fun games when it could have easily been written off as glorified tech demos.
The first game looked amazing on PS2 as ToD on PS3 and by the time they released Into The Nexus it looked a generation better than ToD and then it repeats again with Ratchet & Clank 2016 now with Rift Apart it was and still i...
I played Wind Waker, Minish Cap and Four Swords Adventures.
And those didn't have slow paced tutorial areas.
I'm currently at the first areas and it drags quite a bit It felt pretty empty and lonely don't know if I can power through these cleverly disguised tutorial areas.
Not a fan of the first areas so far.
Not to me, my Nostalgic Disney characters didn't looked this cheap and simplified though maybe nostalgic to y'all teenagers who only watched 2013 Mickey Mouse shorts.
Castle of Illusion remake looked far better than this and that was 10 years ago with full 3D graphics on PS3.
Bad game required friends so it wouldn't felt as bad playing it but game itself didn't get any better he just used his friends to cope with the fact that its a bad game.
Only one proper settings away from running better than Switch hardware at 1440p/4K some already made 60 fps mod for it even though it still WIP.
Runs quite well on Ryujinx even at 2x resolution.
Only the shader compiling can be terrible at times drop down to high teens but resolve itself pretty quickly.
Much better than Sonic Frontiers which constantly struggle to hit over 25 fps on my setup.
60 fps mod doesn't quite work at the moment for me it simply makes the game speed tied to frame rate when it can't hit 60 fps so game's in slow motion.
Looks like 4090 can do double that frame rate if it wasn't such an unoptimized last gen sub par looking UE4 game.
Luke Stephens was so fed up about trying to get Redfall to run at all on his PC for 2.5 hours then gave up and try the game on Series S instead and its a blurry mess on Series S.
Is this why I couldn't access N4G all morning?
I won't spoil it but I just played the first few minutes in the game on Ryujinx and it runs rather well right off the first boot there's the usual shader compiling stutters on the spot when you do something new or in a new area for first time but solves itself pretty quickly, some minor graphical bug but still totally playable.
It's not like you have a lot to be excited about on Xbox right now lol.
I liked many mediocre games but if that's all I'm getting or getting anything at all then it doesn't take much to get excited.
The standard have been so low over there that even 30 fps last gen looking co-op shooter got you excited.
Once they sorted the stock issues and allowed store pick ups they went right back to do big numbers here in Thailand.
I'll finally be getting one probably in June.
Never into FF games but this really pushed me to give it a try, it looks insane.
There's always a catch with these "Free" DLCs.
Take advantage of it while its still hot right Capcom?
They removed a mode to get initial high review scores knowing full well it will reveal the ugly side of the remake.
Yeah I'd prefer they do something new and original as over reliance on Resident Evil IP can lead to franchise fatigue again.
I know they on a roll with RE remakes but It'd be nice to have something new from them in between RE release which hasn't been one for years now.
I would, the reason why RE Remake, RE4 have amazing graphics because it was a Gamecube exclusive and they took full advantage of its powerful hardware the last of powerful Nintendo console.
This is pathetic to have such low render target for their flagship title, this ain't 2008 anymore, Bethesda.
Added to "It doesn't matter" list for Xboxers since 2013.
I'm sorry but y'all fans are just going to give them free passes all the time like this is no wonder why they don't feel the need to improve.
