I didn’t know that. That’s interesting.

Why so many disagreements? Jinger is probably right. There’s no denying that this “Games as a service” model has been spreading and increasing like crazy recently. More and more games are coming out with microtransactions, lootboxes, more and more expensive season passes and so on. It’s makes publishers a crap ton of money, so it makes sense that this will only become more and more severe as Gaas becomes the future of gaming. Maybe it’s a state of denial or something that the general gaming p...

I guess you meant to say “naive”? Anyways, we will see how it goes.

Sony cock blocked you, so you wanna go with Xbox now to prevent that from happening in the future cuz of crossplay and blah blah blah. Ok! I don’t have to click on the article now ;)

Well I’m glad Dying Light 2 is out of the hands of WB now, so that’s good. Techland dodged the bullet on that one.

I know GameStop is a big pile of monkey dung, but just for argument sake, couldn’t they just start getting into the PC hardware market? Maybe start selling things like gaming monitors, TV’s, laptops, and so on and so forth and keep their rewards card stuff? I mean I know GameStop has started slling toys and collectibles, but I would think from a business point they’d sell other things besides just games and toys. Maybe ditch the product that is on the decline and sell things that are on the r...

Awwww, so sorry John :( You’re right! Everyone should care about the employess not losing their jobs! We need to start donating to those poor folks at places like EA, Activision, GameStop, and other places that we feel that people may lose their jobs at 🙀! For now on, we need to give in on everything these cashiers have to shill , otherwise they may lose their jobs, oh no!! 😥 Give everyone all your money and forget about consumer discretion. Don’t make the choice in purchasing...

GameStop has gotten so bad with their in-your-face pop on and banner ads. Literally when I walk into a GameStop there will be a bunch of pop-on ads everywhere and sooooo many “pre-order this” “bundle” posters, banners, pop ons, papers and so on. It’s like a damn ad store. If that isn’t bad enough, the cashiers who do their job try to get in my face and shill. At the counter as well it’s like “would you like to pre-order? Would you like a GPG? Would you like PRP? Would you like to donate to Au...

I think it would have been better for Valve to also just allow XXX games, but almost EVERY game? I'm really happy to see that they are for free speech, but at the same time, they are going to allow things including asset flips, "games" with no executive files, and other stuff that should be filtered out now? Now I'm really scared of triple A publishers not wanting to publish their games on Steam and will publish somewhere else like Uplay or Origin. Maybe Steam has too large ...

This isn’t good at all. If Valve doesn’t have quality control over Steam, publishers will be scared off and will sell their games on different platforms like Uplay and Origin. I’m afraid many will request to take their games off Steam.

Does that mean that Steam is going to freely allow more asset flips? I hope this doesn’t scare away publishers.

Does your Galaxy S7 play Skyrim? No. Does it play Mario Odessy? No. Does it play Breat of The Wild? No. These games dont compare even close. BTW we all know Fortnite is coming to the Switch. And also I'd like to point out that Gear Club on Android is a F2P game while on Switch you get the full experience. So is Modern Combat and Asphalt. Good luck with local multiplayer and playing your phone like a console that you can plug into a TV. A phone can compete in the dedicated gaming market ag...

A Nintendo Switch competitor? LOL!!! Hardly. Nice to know you can play Candy Crush and Bejeweled on an HDR touch screen I guess. 95% of the games on Google Play and the App Store are garbage and mostly carbon copies of each other that are loaded with micro transactions, paywalls, and shitty timers which you have wait for hours or even days sometimes. There’s no contest whatsoever with the software the Switch has. Zelda, Mario Odessy, Kirby, Splatoon 2, Mario Kart 8, f*cking Doom! Even Skyrim ...

Exactly what we need. Who wants to play Xbox games on an Xbox One? It's not like people want exclusive games for it or anything. That's why PS4 sales are down and Playstation is about to drop out of the gaming business for having too many exclusives and not focusing on multimedia. Everybody wants to just play other media on it. It's not like there's a rise on smart TVs or anything.

I’d also like to point out the double standard where it’s ok to have sex in movies and TV shows, but if it’s in a video game it’s bad.
