coke zero ftw
I'm glad Valve actually updates their games regularly unlike many other developers.
Thanks
Yea I need one please
I'm not bashing the PS3. I'm a PS3 and PC gamer. I don't own a 360. From what I've seen the game doesn't look much better than COD4. It's still a good looking game.
Yea. The dedicated server issue and limiting games to 18 players is keeping me on the fence on whether or not to purchase the game. I'll probably still purchase it anyways though.
I wouldn't expect it to have an install. The game doesn't look that great graphically.
Yea. Drivers are updated. Other people I've been talking to with similar setups with ATI cards are having the same issues. The original L4D had the same issue when it first came out. It's a minor nuisance. I'm sure Valve will have it fixed for launch or shortly afterwards.
The game does have some issues. For example, with ATI cards that are in crossfire or anything that is X2 the game runs at 30 fps unless you minimize the game and open it again. I have some trouble with my ATI 4870X2. Setting aside the few issues, I thought the demo was pretty cool.
I'm sure Bungie does a great job polishing their games; however, there's no way they match Blizzard in terms of time spent polishing games. Starcraft II has been in the works for almost 7 years now (since 2003).
Only if the game is called Starcraft II or Diablo 3. I still play Warcraft 3, Starcraft, and Diablo II despite the fact that those games came out over 5 years ago. Blizzard games tend to have a long long replay value.
I'm amazed people are arguing about frame rates when the game isn't going to be released for quite some time. Naturally, the PS3 is tougher to develop for so at this stage of development I would expect the PS3 frame rates to be lower that 360. Wait for the final product to come out before you start debating over frame rates. Even then... it's a stupid debate.
I think it's kind of cool that their using ideas from the community.
contrary to the title, my dell exceeds the recommended specs
I'll stick with Windows. PCs are cheaper even if you rely on a company such as dell or hp and you can build your own. Windows is just as stable as mac os. A pc can do pretty much anything a mac can do at half the price. And when I use a pc i dont associate myself with the creepy emo kids that you see at every coffee shop using macs.
i got the benq a few weeks ago. Buying a monitor today is more complex than ordering all the individuals parts for your computer. Anyways, the benq works great.
candice #9 ftw
Capitalists support large corporations while at the same time disliking government.
Personally, I'm rooting for Microsoft in this case. But I think it's funny how the comments on the n4g website regarding this article are completely the opposite on the comments on the cnet website.
Steam has always had some sick deals every weekend, but this last week has been incredible. Just bought Bioshock and Burnout for a total of $12.50. I like the idea of not having to pay a sales tax either.
