i must admit i do love my PS3 i have always been with playstation (could never get used to that xbox controller) however mostly everyone i know bought x360 because it was cheaper and had far more games then ps3 & some are still waiting for that price drop o make the change (i may have some friends to play online with then :P ) the only thing that dissapoints me about it which isnt sonys fault more down to devs is the fact that we get poor ports thats why youll see x360 games with far bett...
im actually surprised, i was fairly dissapointed i perosnally dont think a mic, brighter screen and lower battery life was much of an upgrade, im still happy with my psp-1000 may upgrade one day but for now im happy.
Personally i like the price of the PS3, it cuts down on all the kids out there shouting "i pwns j00, im so 1337", i like to enjoy my gaming experience not get annoyed by damn immature kids (WoW springs to mind).

And as for the comment about it playing in 600p most games are 720p as standard without upscaling maybe you should get a TV that can support more than 600p then your comment would stand.
