There was a bit of modern day story..
The title needs to change, this will confuse people to thinking this is Cyberpunk 2077.
Didn't Chris Avellone tweet a while ago something along the lines "its been a long time" with a fallout picture?
He didnt call Sony games "average", he said "on average". Which if put in context, can only be said as "on average, something happens".
I also disagree with him on the "gassed out" comment.
I would have liked to experience Prey 2 that was showcased in 2011. That game was at least connected to the first game somehow.
Rage wasn't a bad game, it just wasn't for the 7th generation consoles. The people behind it had of a lot of technological ambition that was just not feasibe on old gen consoles. I would enjoy a new one if they truly showcase what they have promised in the first's marketing
If 5 years isnt enough to develop a game (specifically a new IP), then the blame falls on the developers more than the publisher. In this case, Rare is clearly not at the height of its career. Suggesting that if given enough time they'd produce a well game is, simply put, wishful thought. Rare doesnt have the talent it once had.
Aren't you a pretentious one...
There is no such thing as "real gamers".
I dont believe any is complaining about the game, people are complaining about the trailer.
This trailer was poorly made, it felt too much revealing. Rockstar should have done what they usually do, use trailers to showcase scenary with story elements rather than throw words on the screen to represent what the story will be.
John snow....
Number-3 related?
Or...give it to the rising THQ Nordic.
"Sporadic to omnipresent"... seriously...
Well it's an assumption that is based on given empirical evidence. It may be wrong, but until proven otherwise, it's fact.
Also, the scientific theory of the big bang isn't as it is widely understood, it isn't a bang in the sense of an explosion. It is rather the rapid expansion of the universe, in a short time interval, from an extremely dense point that just happened to exist. How it existed is not known until this day.
To clarify the statement above, the company of CD Projekt Red did not work with Guerilla Games. There were employees that were hired by Guerilla Games that used to work for CD Projekt Red.
"Strong female protagonist"... No, that isn't considered a point up, if you said "a good protagonist" then that would have been a point up. In my opinion, she was a mediocre character, and the dialogue in the game felt a little cringy and corny at times. Of course, the gameplay was amazing and there is no denying to that.
Can I just ask? WTF happened to L.A.Noire's graphics? The game looks like it is a late PS2/ early Xbox 360 game, WTF HAPPENED!? How is it possible that a hardware considered to be better than Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 produce less appealing visuals than both of them of a game that originally released in 2011!?
@andrewsquall
Now, now... you cannot claim the Xbox One reveal event was the worst in consoles' history. You cannot claim that without mentioning the disasters of other consoles. E3 2006 PlayStation 3 reveal was an extremely bad console reveal event (this is a generally-shared opinion, so it isn't my own opinion only), I would even dare to say it was worse than Xbox One's reveal (this is my opinion).
The first Scalebound gameplay trailer (Gamescom 2015) showcased a cohesive piece of work with some technical hiccup, they shown shit at E3 2016 and it would have been trash on release. The same is true for Crackdown 3, Gamescom's footage looked way better that what they're showcasing now.
This time around, I hope they come up with something new and not so similar to Halo.
