it wasn't blown out of proportions though. lets say for a moment, that you created a new game called Funzone and it was the big hit shooter for the year of release. and then a few years later, theres a tv show that uses your game without your approval. still seems ok?
that concept art is Ubisoft's Property. legally speaking. ND Stole it because it wasn't theres to begin with and most likely didn't contact Ubi for approval. i hope Ubi see's it as a human er...
walk the plank!
@zerocarnage
ya defnintly understand that, used to play Guild Wars myself. im holding off on the seasons pass currently, going to wait a month or two to see if i feel its worth it, a friend is getting it so ill be able to see most of it through him. was burned with the seasons pass on destiny so im being precautious with this one, although already it is looking to be more worth it than the seasons pass for destiny
have you played the full game release, including the stuff they havent talked about? Destiny is also a very basic shooter, should that be free as well? what about CoD?
becuase something to you looks basic, or even if one aspect may seem basic doesn't mean it isn't worth 60$ (in my case 80$)
Bloodborne is a basic hack and slash, all built around timing, does that mean it should be 60 as well?
Free-to play only works if things are unloc...
i think that may be one of the season pass weapons. i remember reading that season pass holders get exclusive weapons and stuff.
or even worse, fire at the turrent (not marking them as rogue but then the turrent fires back, marking you as rogue. skills like that shouldn't cause rogue status, if you attack a turrent that isnt rogue, it should be just like attack another player, they first to fire gets the rogue status.
ps5! stop thinking old gen, this is definitly ps6 quality stuff /s
worst idea in the world, why would you want to make the a pay to win game. cuz thats what would happen, 12 years olds who have their daddy's credit card will rack up about a 18000$ doing that, then tell their parents they didnt know any better, parents wont punish kid, demand refund from company and act liek nothing happend. at least thats what ahppened with an 18yr old and fifa
that grappling zip line was all sorts of wrong direction (like posh gps route to the side of the bridge and off)
they are slowly doing that, i believe if my memory serves me well that by 2020 they want to be down to about 5 games that they develop, in raw numbers terms i believe 2010 they released upwards of 50.
it defintly shows that they are focusing more on the quality over quantity,i think with Division being the first. i could see it being For Honor (omg hehehe), Division, AC, Far Cry and rotation between Ghost Recon and Rainbow 6
@sammarshall
i love my sony, dispise the look of the x1 (sorry guys its just too big for me). but i cant wait til tax returns are in so i can finish upgrading my pc so i can play QB on it. it was definitly a smart move by MS to send it to pc as well, gave people like me an opportunity to see other developer's work
Hunka, you have quoted more MEta Scores than alot of people on here. so dont say its a sony fanboy.
although i do agree with your list, minus halo 5 as that wasn't a 10/10, plus i've never been into those games to much, cant even get into killzone on my prefered console.
As for what Septic said, completely agree, scoring a 9/10 doesn't make an exclusive game "exclusive" most tend to be in that range as its able to use full potential of s...
depends what one classifies as RPG, Division is going to be a number crunch game in the end, just like Diablo and those style games, that alone makes it an RPG (for that category), on top of that, you have the skills to choose form, plus talents and perks. definite RPG there. so what may be throwing some people off is the setting for it, as most RPG's ae either ancient lands of magic and dragons, or far future.
definitly a great loot system, first introduced on console before being brought to the pc version. pretty much in a standard 1 hour session of d3 you could get between 1-5 legendaries, not not all may be stright up more powerful but the stats was where the magic happened. putting on a weapon that does 40% less dmg yes you DPS increases from skills and buffs. hmmm soooooo nice
Cloudgardian letmeplaysa. remember boys and girl, twist and flick
@_-EDMIX-_ while i agree mostly with you, i don't know if you follow Kinda Funny Games, but i take Colin's impressions very seriously, after following them during the days of BEYOND! i found alot of my views are similiar to Colin's, doesn't mean its the deciding factor, but i definitly use his input when deciding what games to buy when they are close to 100$ in my area right now.
Stupid canadian loonie, making us look crazy to the rest of the world
they've been quoted saying they are keeping some stuff quiet until release to not give away everything at once
seem to forget the lootbased game king, Diablo, those really didnt get nerfed, either weaker legendaries were boosted or new ones added to counter the high powered ones.
have to remember all the whack jobs form GTA online and CoD were on it this weekend with a sole purpose to go rogue becuase this is the first game to give u that kind of option (master Chief be jealous)
when the game comes out, ya maybe the first week or 2 there will be alot of trolls in the DZ but soon enough, names will be recognizable and the trolls will be sent under the bridge to their true home. at that point, it'll be all good, with Rogues still happening, but not ...
give me a list or your mortal enemies, i shall begin the cod slapping at once
