The 700$ price tag on OG ps3 were still the cheapest blue ray players on the market, thats why it was successful.
i worked at best buy when the ps3 was released, every hometheatre we sold we spoke with them about a stand alone blue ray player for 1000$ or a ps3 for 700 that also played games, surfed the net, and stored files on it.
how about a release date.

Sony makes the panels for Samsung TVs, they are still make change every tyime a samsung tv is sold, thats al;so why there is the PS now on all samsung smart tvs now

Sony (thwe company that makes TVs, Cameras,) isnt the same company that runs Playstation.
They are like 3rd cousins twice removed, See eachother at annual events, look akwards at each other and think "i recognize him but dont know who he is"

difference between Sony and Nintendo is exactly as you said, theya re super focused on creating their own ips and have their own assets, to the point they are just getting into mobile stuff now, have no movies out with nintendos name on it.

SIE takes care of Playstation Now, which is actually a very good service depending on your need of it,
Let say you have a hotel, or resort with 5,000 tvs. if each of those TVs is either a sony or samsung smart TV they now have PS3 games accessible for every guest of the hotel/resort without the worry of consoles being stolen. thats a huge feature and selling point for hotel and resort comp...

While some of the profits SIE are making their way to the rest of sony, i would much rather have that than a gaming division constantly reduced with their budget because the rest of the company is hurting else where.

Every pc game isnt going to work on win 10. If a game is solely released on steam its still just a pc exclusive. So far its only ms published games and games they thrown a lot of money at for deals

He was talking about how Xbox games will be on PC as well, thus giving the PS users a chance to buy them on pc if they wanted. as far as the xbox is compared to Playstation now that Play anywhere is rolling out, there are no exclusives to the xbox console anymore.
