In my opinion either there were big development changes, or they caught that FFVII remake/sequelitis. Afraid everyone's expectations will be higher than what they could deliver.

Killzone has been a bumpy ride, but an undeniable graphic powerhouse. My day one purchase even though I'm not a hardcore shooter fan.
Games like this, gaming in its purest form, yet next gen graphics, this is why I still believe in gaming.
Simple, if you like Football, a lot of shooters, don't mind Kinnect and the price go for Xbox One. If you like a diverse library, quality 1st party games, potential higher hp system for $100 less go PS4. You don't like either get a PC or none, it's that simple. Next question.
