It's Microsoft's version of "circular reasoning."
Round and round MS goes, like a broken record.
"Look kids, Parliament, Big Ben. Look kids, Parliament, Big Ben. Look kids Parliament, Big Ben. Look kids...WE KNOW DAD, Parliament, Big Ben."
All kidding aside, I do agree with them. Let the games do the talking. That is what Sony nearly always does. Maybe MS finally gets it, then again maybe not.

OH YEAH? But have you seen what people do with a 700 dollar rig using a modded version of cryengine.....ON WEED?
You forgot MEGA SUPER DUPER GIGANTO CLOUD powered by infinity plus 1.21 jimeeeliongawats inside an improbability drive.
And you forgot this.

@BlackTar187
Correct. I remember back at my days managing Funcolands, where the launch and early PS2 games were mocked for looking no better and in some cases worse than Dreamcast games. I remember Tekken "jag" Tournament, or "Ridged" Racer. The common theme back then was that the PS2 was hard to come to grips with in my conversations with developers at the fall conferences that I attended.
Cerny even stated that "time to triangle&quo...
Agreed. More games, and better games. More time spent on what they want in the game, and less on how to make the game work. Imaginations should flourish with the PS4.
IMO, they PS4 will be the most successful console yet, and it will be home till so many memorable and unique experiences.
Whatever these games are, there is no question in my mind these AAA genes will not disappoint. Sony has nearly 2 decades of gaming awesomeness under their belts, and for the 1st time they have an easy system to develop for.
They will imo stagger AAA game announcements to keep interest of the PS4 at its peak.
Patience my friends, Sony has and will deliver.
Don't think of it as a fanboy comment. I was only kidding...mostly.
For me, when I look back at the awesome games on the PS1, PS2, and PS3, I see the best variety, from the best developers IMO. The "time to triangle" is really exiting for me. Developers will spend far more time focusing on what they want to do with the game, and not how to make it work.
The fact that they went to developers when designing the PS4 speaks volumes to me as to what ...
My only question for them is...
What about the powah of teh cloudz?
Corporate msm is not liberal.
*facepalm* on your silly comment not based in reality.
People who watch NO news faired better than those who watched fox, so what does logic suggest?
Is that you Maj. Nelson?
Agreed. The level of detail, the destructibility, the fluid animations, the clarity of shadows, surfaces, and of course what looks to be excellent gameplay, shows us what the PS4 is capable of at the very beginning of its lifecycle.
As Sony's AAA FP developers work together to really dig into the machine, we will be treated with games that will make this game look very dated, just as it has been with the PS1, PS2 and PS3.
Think ND and what they have been...
The more I see of this game, the more I think that I will be doing the same. Now, after this bad boy releases, I hope and pray to SLOTH that Evolution gets to work on a PS4 Motorstorm. The tiny little details that they are putting into this game visually speaking is astounding.
This is just the beginning of the awesome that is Sony FP studios cranking out game after game after game of originality, variety, technical complexity, visual splendor and physics systems that will be game changers. The PS1, PS2, and PS3 all had these wonderful games. Logic suggests that the PS4 will be the home of the most amazing gaming experiences. The SHARE button will make a huge impact as well.
I have no problem with Sony spilling the beans on games 1 to 3 years out li...
The latest build, the one after GC, has anti-aliasing implemented. That is why.
Taken from Neogaf: "Rushy of Evolution Studios mentioned on NeoGAF that the latest builds of the game are using an anti-aliasing solution, contrary to the Gamescom build shown in these videos where there is no anti-aliasing at all. So the jaggies seen here should be a thing of the past when you get to play this game at launch!"
So what you are saying is...
I got mine, and Frakk everyone else.
Those are not particles, they are cubes. Look closely.
@bjmartynhak,
My suggestion is to not drive on top and behind the car, then you will have no problem seeing the track. I suggest a cockpit view, a clear view or a hood view.
@Bigpappy.
"Still love Sony too though, so don't get disheartened."
Thank you for bringing me back from my feeling of no other way out then to commit seppuku. :-P
Greetings BTW, me and you used to have some interesting back and forth comments years ago on this site. In the words of MJ "I'm back."
Not all of the launch sales will be pre-orders for Sony. I cannot speak for MS because I do not have the information but IMO they will have some "shelf" systems available as well. Sony has specifically stated that they will have systems available to those that do not pre-order. This is where the chaos will most likely originate from in the form of long lines and some altercations.
I agree with you on the advantage Sony will have as far as the restock of systems bef...
Interesting. So, multiple 3rd 1st and 2nd party developers are fanboys?
