60fps does matter as our eyes see things much faster than that, so in turn if the frame rate is faster it adds more immersion to the experience, depending on the game it comes across as more realistic, more like reality.
Taking a screenshot of a game in 30fps and 60fps is not a good illustration, unless you're just trying to be purposefully ignorant. A better way would be to do a 5 or 10 sec vid comparison of the same things, then you would really be able to see how fluid...
