Im a frequent CE buyer myself, but nowdays its only like 1 in 10 CE's that actually gain value in the end.
Halo 2, Halo 3, Falllout 3, Bioshock, Oblivion, Gears of War 2, and Farcry 2 for example have had not gained value at all for the their CE's, Some are even worth less than the standard edition like Far Cry 2, as they require big postage costs to post.
Looks awfully basic, I hate when companies give out DLC as a big feature of a Limited Edition... a lot of gamers still don't have their consoles connected up online or anything...
