I find this article to funny. Gamestop did a Midnight launch for the 3DS when it first released and Pokemon black & white. I attended both and the 3DS midnight wasn't as robust as most people would have expected.

The problem is that Crash & Spyro are with Activision. And those games would have helped the Vita push sales for the Vita.

From that video you can tell the game has some problems. With other survival games you have more than one melee weapon and the reviewer never mention if it was breakable over time. I'm happy to hear that the guns are strong, but are not available when you need it.

There are 2 big games coming out next week for the vita and that just includes retail. We also have Playstation plus coming. While Declassified didn't do it for everyone, next week will having something for everyone that has a Vita and plus and anyone that plans on getting one.
I understand why you can be upset that the writer left off PG4, but they did leave off a few other titles (Hitman Absolution). This is not the preview that we normally get from them on Monday. Its just a glimpse of what is to come next week. It's not like the blogcast mentioned everything we can expect on Tuesday.

To be fair, they did score it .5 higher than The original. I thought their review was pretty week in terms of how the other reviews are (not score, but the text of the review).
The Vita this year had some pretty great titles score very well in terms of their metacritic score. Persona 4 Golden will be one of the highest rated titles like the original is for the PS2. And will probably go on being one of the highest selling titles for the Vita, as the PS2 version did.

I agree, this title will do well. As much as I would love for it to do Halo numbers or Gears numbers in a week, not a single day. It might not happen, but it might hit those numbers or exceed in lifetime numbers.

PSN doesn't charge tax unless you live in a state that does. At least for me in New York.
This is just my take on it. The Wii U still comes with onboard memory, so they really won't need a separate hard drive right away unless they plan on downloading titles right away.
The HDD they have to buy is not as expensive as the Vita memory cards are. I can buy a 1TB external HDD for the same price (or less), I can get a 32GB memory card for my Vita. Can you see the memory size difference.

I still stick with my first impression and say this game is better than what professional reviewers are giving this game. The content, yes is shallow and short, but the MP and replayability is there. The game is better than Resistance Burning Skies. I think if this game didnt have the COD name, it might have reviewed better, but sell less.
What I find funny is that they just opened 80 kid oriented Gamestops and now they want to close 200?
They are losing money because all their ventures are not making a profit in all stores. Headsets, Iproducts and leap pads are great but not when other locations have better sales and most consumers want the new Iproduct and not the older ones.
The thing is they will have enough to sell to people picking up Halo then they would for a system. They can't order 500-1,000 Wii U systems per store and expect them to sell that same night. The consumer depend is high and that puts consumers, the employees and whomever else is attending.
