I'm looking forward to it, I like change and sometimes its a good thing. I like racing games and the fact that they are taking the step to finally have a NFS game with a Person that gets out the car is a step in a good direction. Hopefully we won't see QTEs and we will be able to do more in the next game.

They might lose more money by dropping the price, if the Hardware they use for the PS3 isn't cheaper than when they first came out with the slims. They were losing money on the Phats and then the slims came and that is when they started making money off of each console sold., but hey who knows other than Sony.

I have one better. Mindjack, I pre-ordered and paid the full 60 dollars and still didn't get the Pre-order bonus. Worse 60 dollars I have ever paid, but homefront it not that far off. 4 hour MP and have the nerve to say a sequel is coming.
You think so? I thought this was a 360fanboy site, that ran off the fuel of the PS3's bad luck the past couple of weeks. I'm sure there would be more news on the 360 if something bad happen or if there was more news on the 360 in general.
I, the same like you come to this site just to get news about the latest game and yes this site gets updated fairly quickly. I'm no fanboy of an console, I play each game, like how it is, a game no matter the console.
@ PunchYoDick, It's funny I buy all my games on the PS3 and Play only the exclusives on the 360. I know real PS3 exclusives, but I'm talking strictly from the prospect of just the gears franchise, not comparing PS3 exclusives to Gears 3. Get you mind out of the fanboyism lane and just see the game for what it is and how its a lot better than the previous games of the same name. At list the gameplay is better online wise and the shotgun is better than what it was in Gears 2.

So it can be done, so the title should be Gears 3 can be done on the PS3, but won't happen. Anyway I love Gears on the 360 and I want it to stay on the 360.

I agree, I'm getting brink and since it's a platinum able offline game, I will have fun with it until L.A Noire comes out. I also hope and pray the servers come back before then, but if not I still have a ton of single player games to play.
I'm just thinking about all the extra content(Desk cases) that can come out for this game and how long that can prolong the game from hitting the used game market.
I want the map to be just like in San Andreas, 3 totally different locations and massively open world game with jets, planes and a mission where you meet all the past main characters in recent games.

I don't think they will use motion scan for GTAV, Motion scan is the only reason why L.A Noire takes up so much space.
With a well thought trophy guide and youtube, I don't see this platinum being long. It might take a great deal of time for me since I don't play with a guide during my first playthrough. I think it will take about 60+ hours which isn't to far off from most of Rockstar games (I know this is a Team Bondi game).
I think if you like story driven games like Mafia 2 and most of Rockstar's games, you will like this one just for the story. I'm getting this becuase I love how rockstar will also have a twist at the end of the game, just look at Red Dead Redemption and GTA IV.
@nycredude, Yea, L.A Noire will be 20-30 hours long with any side missions and collectibles taken up another 10-20 hours. If you are the type of person to go for 100%, meaning replaying all the cases to get 10...
And they never said it was. The game will be story driven like Mafia 2 was, but with an open ending like all Rockstar gamers are, so the player can go around and seek collectibles and do all the side missions.
The player will get random calls and complete random street crimes once they pop up, even if you are in a mission or completing a case (However you look at it).
The game goes from one case to the other, but anything can happen in between.
There are side mission, you can get random calls from the dispatcher about a man/women jumping off a cliff, robber and other random calls. There are the Collectibles, if you want to prolong the game.
I'm sure you can cause havoc and stuff, but the story seems like there will only be a good ending. I too am looking forward to Infamous 2.

Great info from that video and I'm surprised, 3 disc for the 360 version must be a lot of content just for an Action Adventure game, but I know its not unheard of. I would how big the next GTA will be?
I do plan on picking this up... just don't think I will rush and pay the 60 dollars for it. I will rent/borrow it from work first and see if I like it and if I do, I will buy it. Most of the time I will buy them after trying them, but with the feedback so far, I think it's best not to drop the 60 dollars on day one when you have options.
Hopefully the multiplayer is worth it, becuase face it that is the reason I'm buying it.
I would like to see it on the 360 or PS3.
