Some of the speculation I've read is pretty interesting. A parry mechanic would fit with the whole SF3 thing they seem to be going for here, but I sincerely doubt it'll be anything like it was in those games.
Talking trash about this update is weird. It's a bunch of free content and it looks like fun content. They're also providing a lot of balance updates in this patch for Ultra Street Fighter IV.
The dichotomy is really not applicable. I don't think anyone with an informed opinion actually thinks PC gamers are better at every single video game genre... the platform doesn't make the difference. The comparison is really only valid in RTS and FPS games where the keyboard and mouse offers a much wider and more precise range of control in this case. The best fighting game players in the world will play on whatever is the tournament standard and I doubt there will be a correlation i...
It was an exhibition match in a game neither player actually plays anymore.
Forn, completely agree. DSII was such a disappointment!
The art style and world design is just... amazing. I'm buying a PS4 for this without a doubt.
Ubisoft is a scumbag company
The GameCube remake of Resident Evil is one of the greatest games ever made.
I agree. Personally I did not like the first one at all, but I loved the second one.
I feel like the indie scene is what you should be looking into if you want something new. Mainstream stuff of any media gets tiring eventually. There's a lot interesting ideas floating around there, but many are not coming from powerhouse AAA studios unfortunately. I highly recommend that anyone who feels this way to start digging through the Steam Early Access or indie section and supporting the ideas you like.
Are they really better than Silver/Gold? I never got to play them growing up.
Great console.
Yes, you are arguing argumentum ad populum.
Context of the argument:
"How so?", you say (as in "how so is this review trolling", "how is the Little Big Planet not average in mechanics", trust me... I'm trying to be as charitable as I can to see your argument from all angles)? "Well, I'll tell you how my friend, the average is an 8." "It's clickbait because it's not an 8." "It's trollin...
I think it's you who needs to brush up on definitions amigo, and you should also think about how you're simply arguing semantics. The definition is not exclusive to elite or emotions and is comprised of exactly what I said: using majority opinion to establish a point. If "average" is "consensus" and "consensus" is "opinions shared by a group of people" AKA a "majority", then the statement that "average" is the "majority&...
So, thorstein, you're saying that because the majority thinks something, it's true? Please, please tell me you don't think like this. Not only is it a logical fallacy (argumentum ad populum), it's morally corrupt because it limits the range of discourse available in the media. Video game journalism is already top tier pandering garbage, there's no reason to make it worse by homogenizing it via ostracizing/discrediting different opinions on the basis that they are different...
Didn't he think Portal 2 was good? That game, despite all of its undeserved praise, is one of the worst perpetrators of too many unfunny jokes per second. Sunset Overdrive is at least a fun game too.
I'm not a scientist, but I'm going to deduce that it isn't so much that he can't take a joke and more that what you said wasn't funny at all.
This game is going to be so tight.

I remember when this franchise was supposed to be pretty good.

I like this theory. Twisted Pixel would be great for that.
