Dreams is the real deal. Don't sleep on that shit.
gangsta don't know what he's talking about. At all.
It is absolutely one of the best puzzle games of all time, so you are wrong. Wrong as wrong can get.
Let it be good! Volleyball needs better representation in the virtual realm.
What is the point of you?
*biggest eye roll on the face of the Earth*
Give it a fucking rest. Is it ever your day off from saving the world?
What "view" do you have?
The Vals are tough, but ultimately it's just patterns, so patience wins the days, eventually.
Getting good at whipping the axe at enemies that are powering up is a good skill to couple with Atreus's arrows (which you should be spamming constantly).
Being patient. Turtling is very effective in this game, so when you're under duress, either escape the fray or turtle behind your shield. (Then explode into action on vulnerable or powering up enemies.)
Learn the moveset. What moves chain together well. How long do they take to pull off safe...
You'd better not claim to like any open world games then, or any "wide linear" games, because GOW handles this mixture at least as well as any of those do.
Ugh, these immature opinions just make every trip into the web feel like babysitting...
Yeah, pretty good
There does seem to be some balancing that could be done to this mode, but I'll be dammed if it doesn't milk the combat engine for every drop of it's strategic potential and sense of urgency. The enemies are sponges, true, but getting extremely good will eventually grant the wherewithal to wipe out mobs with relative quickness.
Also, I wouldn't trade the insane level up mechanic for the enemies for anything. It adds an incredible layer to the game that - wh...
It's very good. There's a lot to take in, a lot to think about. The whispers of GOTG aren't unfounded, that's for sure.
I really genuinely love the story, character and world building in this game. They are right up there, neck and neck with The Last of Us, but I think it's important to point out that the combat engine in this game is easily the best thing it has going. It's a total package, though, definitely.
Oops. I had two articles open in different tabs. Looks like I referenced the wrong one. Anyway, you should've seen it - oh my goodness are fanboys just the utter worst...
Sure. But, some DLC that included more monsters and zero humans would be maybe better. Even just a Horde Mode would sit very well with me, if done right.
@Pandamobile Thanks for the explanation!
Thanks for the comment. I guess I already sort of got that part of it -- more just wondering how using math to decide where a tree (or series of trees) goes, is any more efficient than an artist dictating that beforehand.
Head over to the Discord server if you need help. Extremely friendly group.
