It appears the pS3 wins this one graphically. If you watch the explosions the volume and physics of the explosion looks a lot better on the PS3.

I see what your saying. But for me, Buying a fully capable HDTV is worth it because you get a lot more out of it than just using it for your ps3. Maximizing the way you watch TV and game is def something I want and will save for.
Hey I got an idea.....Why don't you get a job/save from your current job for about 1-3 months and go out and buy a flat panel lcd/plasma tv.......full native 1080p. Problem solved.

Now that I have been thinking about this delay more and more. I woudnt be suprised that the main reason they keep delaying is because they want this game to be implemented with home. This game could very effectively portray the achievement system thats Home is supposed to have.
I completely agree with you. When I first played UT3, one game came to mind and that is halo. UT3, I also believe has better sniping because it takes more skill because the lack of auto-aim *cough halo 2*. Halo is a really fun game with a lot to offer, but I think UT3 has just as much if not more but doesn't get the same level of popularity or publicity.

As a player on both networks, I admit that Live is better than PSN in some respects. It simply has more features with in game dashboard that allows you to access more without quitting the game. Although Live does have the edge, the overall experience of playing games with regards to lagg, matchmaking, etc. PSN is just as good if not better. My internet connection is great and I experience slightly more lagg on Live than PSN. In my honest opinion both networks are even when it comes to overall...
Yes, there is a reason for this.....Sony puts out quality products. Everything Sony makes is engineered to perfection. On the contrary M$ has a rep of putting out shi**y technology (ie 360 [over 30% fail rate], vista and every windows OS not named '95 and XP). People have come to expect reliable hardware from Sony so they continue to support and come back.
Well I don't know if any of you know but Sony and Samsung use the exact type of parts in their tvs.

I think you guys are missing the point. Back when the original xbox had launched, it was in a similar situation that the ps3 is now. Halo CE came along and totally transformed the system and put xbox, as a console, on the map. I believe the 360's success with its online infrastructure, Primetime gaming level (MLG, its on ESPN now), and overall success in its huge userbase is due to Halo.
