I quit clicking on anything IGN or gaming bolt a couple years ago because they either hated playstation or was on someone's payroll.
Are they still like that?
And I loved tear away on my vita...
I would have rated it a 9, fantastic, different kind of game.
Async Compute will help developers with the limitations of the cpu...
@oto100 you have no idea.
Except they aren't talking about 4. They are referring to the remaster.
Lol.
Does anyone realize they are talking about uncharted remastered? Not uncharted 4.
So tomb raider has the same LOD as last gen.
It doesn't make it bad, and I'll play it when it comes out, used that is. MS gave them my money for a new copy when they made it a timed exclusive so games top can have my money on this...
I just look at the PS App on my tablet or phone for friends list.
1 to 10 gigs was a good addition.
Yeah another USB port would be nice. I have the gold wireless headset and the dongle takes one slot up all the time.
Although it's not to big of a problem. If I need to charge both controllers I use a 2 amp mobile phone charger right next to the PS4 for one of them..
Whew, just in time. My old PS4 bankrupted me. /s
Yeah there have been a few. But it's been dabbling.
No one has used it to its fullest extent, not even close. I assume it needs to be written in engines to fully take advantage of it.
Anyway, this seems to be a pretty big deal for the PS4 as it has 8 ACEs'.
Mark cerny said the ps4 will be easy to use, hard to master. He also said they future
proofed it. This is pretty much it.
Yay for better performance. ...
As volkama said...
Games haven't begun to use asynchronous compute yet. It's going to greatly benefit the PS4. A read through beyond 3d and neogaf will tell you.
It's going to be a year or two before it's fully implemented. What mark cerny said about difficult to master is referring to this..
So yes we are getting a major bump in graphics performance.
So its looking like right now that amd cards are better suited for dx12 than Nvidia. That's a strange twist, someone at Nvidia not get the memo?
The code can stay the same on PS4 as far as I'm concerned(I didn't see any bugs anyway).
Just please give us a smooth multiplayer experience when it comes out please. The limited servers they had up got bombed during the beta.
Glad I'm waiting to buy my gpus.
On the console side, am I reading things correct? This seems good for async compute on the PS4 as well as dx12 on xbox?
There is no doubt MS has turned things around and have a much better offering then they did at launch. It seems all they have left to do is clean up their stuttering OS and continue to bring games.
That said, the damage has been done.
The PS4 has been a beast from the start, with not much to fix Or change. They were more ppwerful, cheaper, and more innovative from the start. Concentrating on a games machine with gaming centric features from the start and i...
It's not an insult, it's discussing the topic at hand.
Xbox already has a low level api so the gains are going mostly to PC. Xbox will benefit on the CPU side mostly.
I think fr9m everything I've read that small improvements will be made on both sides through software.
1152 shader units vs 768
18 compute units vs 12
32 ROPS vs 16 rops
DX 12 isn't going to erase that.
Holy s*#t. PT and morpheus would freak me out.
PT kinda freaked me out anyway, honestly I don't think I would go down that road.
I enjoy the infinity games, and yes mashing the same button works.
They should have made the controller the same colors as the console...
So far 1/3 through this gen there are 25 million potential customers. I'll buy one. I'm buying this first then either oculus or vive..
Go to list wars and count troll. Total fanboys are blind.
