Gears will probably have the higher pre order and sales numbers but there is no doubt in my mind that Uncharted 3 will be the better game and that is what matters to me.

It's a great game, and I can guarantee you that Battlefield 3 is going to be a great game as well. So instead of saying shit like these graphics look better than this or this game has prettier lighting, why don't we just talk about all the freakin awesome games us as gamers are all getting
I play on both PSN and Xbox Live and think both are great. However people believe PSN has more mature people, i disagree. This perception exists because the sheer about of people that play xbox live. Your bound to come across more annoying people. Add to that the fact that every xbox comes bundled with a headset and thats more people you can hear run their mouths.
I also have the game early and could not agree less with this pessimistic review. All the negative points that they state are so insignificant, the game is freakin amazing! I'm not COD lover or anything, I just consider myself a gamer who trys to play the best games and this one is up there for me. Please try the game for yourself, you will be very happy you did. Very good review. I got the game early for my PS3 and I could not agree more with this review. A couple of weeks ago I could have sworn it would be a while till another single player game came out that was better than Uncharted 2.... and a couple of weeks later I was proved wrong. MW2 is one of the best single player experiences I have ever played, then you have the amazing multiplayer which deserves its own review. It's my game of the year.
By the way your quote about when you realized this was the best single player experience is a direct quote from adam sessler from Xplay. But I mean if u feel the same way thats cool, maybe you should quote it.
thats funny because I have stopped using my PSP because of my iPhone and the amount of low price great quality games on it.
I follow gamespy on twitter and I have no idea why, I do not like the site but this is what their tweet about the review said...."Uncharted 2: Among Thieves is so damn good that its little flaws stand out more than you'd expect." What kind of bullshit reason is that to give a game a 4.5 out of 5 and not a 5 out of 5.
I have never responded to reviews since everybody is entitled to their opinions, but this is bullshit. Long Loading times?? From everything I've heard and seen Uncharted 2 loads during cutscenes and for them to praise it so much and for the second opinion to give it a 10 out of freakin 10 then 8/10 final score does not add up AT ALL.
Is it just me or is anybody else bothered by the off centered PS3 logo on the top of the system?
freakin looks great, but to all the people saying GOTY in 2010, lets just wait and see on that. don't forget that God of War 3 also comes out in 2010 and that for sure is going to make a strong case for GOTY.
I played Forza 3 at E3 and it did NOT look as good as that trailer. The game looked sharper than Forza 2 with better car models but thats it. I would love it if the final game looked that good, but I'm kinda confused since what I played did not look near as good as the trailer.
Came into E3 excited for both PS3 and 360 since I own both of them. I was E3 last week and for what it matters the Playstation section was the place to be, no bull. The God of War line was the longest game line at E3, followed up closely by the Uncharted/MAG line. Talked to various people around E3 (including Jeff from gametrailers TV) and the consensus was that Sony had the better games at E3. Personally I played/Saw all the major games: ODST is pure Halo fun.. but it just felt like they are...

I own both the ps3 and 360 and love them both. I would love to come on and have mature conversations about gaming. I have played a countless amount of games but there is something about this game that is just so fun, so amazing, that you can't stop playing. Single player is great looking and fun but multiplayer is the best i have played. Its so deep and rewarding, not to mention every single map is amazing. Great game that deserves all the credit its receiving.

Im not very familiar with how these guys review games but it seems to me like they gave the single player a 9.5 What i am curious about it will they review multiplayer separately or will they adjust the 9.5 score? Whatever they do i know multiplayer is awesome since i was in the beta and I believe the addition of multiplayer shud bump the review to a 10 since I would not like it if they reviewed the multiplayer separate because its part of the killzone package.
My PC can easily run BF3 but I can't get into the Alpha, I've tried everything I know but I don't own all the battlefield games. If anybody can help me get in or knows how I'd appreciate any information, thanks!
