Have you played the game? the comparison is legit! Outer wilds may not be triple A by definition but the content it offers goes way beyond the question of indie vs triple A. I recommend you play it, and not just the "tutorial", and you will know what I mean. Hopefully :)
Let me rephrase: Outer Wilds'open world highlights the shallowness of most of triple A open worlds! This game litteraly blew my mind!

I respect criticism, and I am an Anthem's fan, 35 hours level 15 and it's hard to put the controller down! You can be deeply in love with your wife while deeply aware of her flaws.
I have 30 hours in the game, still counting, didn't finish the campaign and missions yet, which I always solo so it's harder. Until now, combat never gets old, and last I time I had this feeling of being some kind of almighty god crushing his enemies was with God of war 4, my fav game of all time! took me 5 6 hours to enjoy it fully, once you can really have fun in the open world with a decently weaponed javelin, and since then (20h) I enjoy more and more! For an example I quit Horizon zero dawn after 10h and read dead 2 after 12h so Im already satisfied :)
I was ironical...they all suck compared to anthem but you obviously didn't play the game, and for sure not on xbox one x on a 4k hdr10 tv, coz then you would be as breathtaken as I am and you would forgive the shortcomings of the game!

We are flooded with craps like fortnite or apex, games which cost 100 dollars and make billions, and when a new promising IP comes out with incredible graphics and gameplay, which involved hundreds of people in the process, years of work, it's getting blindly bashed! Im SICK of anthem's bashing! I play video games for more than 40 years now and I still remember why I liked it in the first place: graphic performance, gameplay, sense of discovery! Anthem has it all, Im having fun every second besides loading screens! Amy is a french game, unfortunately that doesn't help it getting some good reviews in my opinion! furthermore the french publisher didn't pay major campaign of advertisement, that doesn't help too. It can't be that bad, and if you think of the price, you can't help but thinkin the reviews are suspiciously bad...
I don't think OW learned anything from NMS coz despite the appearances the games are very different, and I loved NMS after the updates! It's not fair to compare actually, both are great at what they intend to do!
