They should make this a more obvious selling point of the VR headset. It's already pretty cool for gaming, for its price range. This will just add to it. Looking forward!
Okay. I know NMS did NOT live up to expectations, like at all. I think part of this is due to Sony rushing them out the door for release. However, all things being said, I give them credit for working hard non-stop since its release to patch the buggy mess and rapidly try to create new content - it's tough for a small dev team like theirs. I think the game would have been much better with an additional year of development, had they not been rushed.
Now THIS is an exclusive. Great reviews throughout - a classic!
PS4 Slim is overall a great buy IF you don't have the PS4 already. Good pricing I'd say.
Kinda cool a story I submitted made the front page!
Personally, I'm not gonna get the PS PRO. It seems too much in limbo -- not TRUE 4K and not able to fully utilize it's power due to developers. Seems very middling to me and not worth the money.
Isn't there a limit to the display of the VR headset itself though? In terms of pixels and resolution I mean. I feel they wouldn't just to push VR as hard as they did if it meant that the PS4 (standard) is gonna be that much inferior. Just my thoughts anyway though, I'm not well-versed enough in the tech department to actually know for sure lol.
That extra horsepower might come in handy for VR processing though, like, in terms of textures since a lot of adopted ...
Anyone knows if the PS4 Pro will actually make THAT much of a difference in terms of PS VR? Enough to fork out the cash?
Doesn't matter cause I'll own both :D
If Star Citizen meets expectations, it'll be by far the best.
But, I suppose we learnt a thing or two from the lofty expectations placed on NMS to adopt a wait-and-see attitude :D
I've never played Elite Dangerous myself, but it does look seamless, doesn't it? With Horizons anyway

Seamless as in, no loading screens, based on the criteria they mentioned anyway....
I'm waiting for it on PS4 -- if it ever comes out :S
Actually I suspect the alert you might have gotten IS from a Malware on your computer previously. I've gotten it before! Kinda like fake boxes saying there's Malware when those alert in themselves come from Malware. Have you run MalwareBytes?

Angry Joe did a fantastic roundup of missing features, with video evidence to show for it from Sean Murray himself.

The box art for the initial release was also stickered over, covering the intended multiplayer supp...
So happy my submitted story got approved. :)
I myself tried returning the game - because it definitely didn't deliver as promised. First hour or so was okay, but then there's no promised multiplayer, and so many features were absolutely missing from the game. If this was a $19-29 game, it'll be fine. But as it is, the full price is NOT worth it. Most overhyped game of the decade, IMHO.
Nah, I did some digging into this myself. it isn't just 'imagined hype'. Sean Murray did promise some lofty things that were never delivered, and has kept mum about it. There is video evidence of this. Just go to YouTube and search 'no man's lie' and there are a few videos on it.
Overall, I don't think it's a terrible game. There's LOTS of areas to improve in but the basic idea is good. The execution is meh, and could have benefited from ...
It sucks as a crafting game too? It's not even a good crafting game. It's a barely decent one.
IMHO they need to fix a lot more things for the game to even live up to half its expectations.
What do you mean?
Eh will this be available in Australia??
This doesn't look half bad for the PS4. Will easily surpass the PS3 in time to come. Sony must be glad.
