I haven't seen a sales spike at all since Blu-ray won the format war in America for the ps3. It sells better in 'Others' and Japan, yet they haven't gotten better in America. Quite strange..Or maybe the 360 is just really doing well.
As if ingame XMB is so heavy to run that no games will ever work again on the PS3 is that what your saing? Your wrong big time.
I could not care less to be honest. The game is great as it is and if I don't know what the extra content is or looks like then I won't miss it either. So yeah, no harm done.
Whatever the game might be im sure it's not going to be an exclusive game since CAPCOM has left the whole exclusivity stuff behind.
very nice. Although the game is quite influenced by star wars. Even the cover is in a star wars theme with light and dark side with both star wars characters on the front. Looks good though nonetheless.

Well the most profit comes from games and not from consoles sold so attachrate is kinda important but as you say it doesn't mean everyone that doesn't buy games has a hacked console.
I sometimes wonder what would be better for Sony. Im sure there are people waiting for the time when the PS3 gets hacked meaning more PS3 will be sold to consumers. Fact is though that those people would probably buy less games unless multiplayer is a big part of the game.
Still think it's a good deal for Sony if it gets hacked. More PS3's sold is more people on PSN, more people buying PSN games and exclusives that require original copies to play multiplayer.
Yeah who didn't see this coming? Apple announced a while back they would support Blu-ray drives in their hardware so MS would follow shortly just as they announced it.
Yeah true that for the PSN games and I agree with Sony on that even though it's not really consumer friendly. However I was talking about games besides PSN releases, like multiplatform and first party games. Im sure in a few months there won't be much difference from the 360.
Well I do agree that Live is partly better but there are a few reasons why that this is only temporarely.
First, the xbox is, as of now, still easier to develop for and therefor easier to release demo's quicker than for the PS3.
Secondly, they got a head start. Xbox had some live features and so MS was already familiar with Online features for the xbox 360 and Sony was not.
Third, xbox live costs money. With the money MS gets from Live subscribers they can afford ...

I'd vote for sega dreamcast or PS2 at number one but comon xbox 360? It's not even here long enough to be even considered greatest just like the PS3.

Anyway, I do wonder what the real purpose of their research is. We already know folding of home @ PS3 is doing great things.

Didn't some devs already say this a while back and evenso it really isn't showing any difference so far. Maybe in the future?

I'd like to play this on the PS3 since the first one was pritty good. Yet my PC is kinda crap so to play this in good graphics would be good. Hopefully the rumors are true.
