I couldn't resist buying this at half off on steam over the weekend. Although my computer cant run it well enough to actually play it... The sea battles are extra rough for me. I have a 2.4 ghz Athlon with 2 gigs ram with x850 radeon. While I know that all needs to be upgraded, I am wondering what is the biggest bottleneck for me at this point.
I still have a tough time getting into it. I guess if some of my good friends played it would be alot more fun for me. I end up playing with random people on steam.
Gotta love the ignorant "illegal war" posts. Nothing more contradicrial than stating "illegal war". Next time we should have tea before blowing the hell out of our enemy to discuss things.
Anyone have a good recommendation for a budget video card that can handle this game well? I have a redeon x850 right now.
I gotta admit... Those new macbook's are pretty awesome. (even though I stay away from apple)
No thank you Chrome. I like to keep Googles big brother tactics to a minimum
I wish my computer could handle this game...
I do understand that BT is more expensive to make than RF, but these are Harmony remotes, not exactly the cheapest ones made. You know a ton of PS3 owners would have ponied up 30 or so more bucks to get that ability. That's whats weird to me. I can understand the guitar's and such.
It boggles my mind that a remote manufacter never made one that used bluetooth. They would have made a killing. And no it doesnt cost much at all to make BT devices.
Much better just the PS store go down than the whole PS Network. I just got a 360 and remember the stories of Live around Christmas time. bad times.
I must be lucky! Got both my college football team AND my pro baseball team for themes. Go Braves and War Damn Eagle!
I want to know why so many people spell ads as adds.
I look forward to the day that we can use POE (power over ethernet) to power our PC's. Already doing it with the IP phones. The next POE is being developed which is a few years out but twice the power of todays. That and wireless power will be great.
I want it, but am really scared that my PC won't handle it very well. The demo took about 10 minutes to start for me and it was unplayable. :(
Oh wow, are most of the anti US people british? Hell Brits are our friends, I figured the very anti comments were coming from some small obscure country. Although I still don't understand the tea thing :)
Might be embarrassing if that website actually was known. They are just trying to be edgy (pun intended) to get some view of themselves. It is fine to not think its the best thing ever, but if you give a game an 82 after its already released and most people disagree with you, then you know either you are trying to go against the grain, or you are a minority.
By the way, what country is .za? I will laugh if it is Zaire.
@4.2
The oil argument is tired... If nothing else be smart enough to know that Iraq is more important for its position in the world for the US to have as a friendly territory than it is its oil production. We are not stealing the oil or even profiting from it (see oil prices) it DOES make the extremist nations in the region think twice about doing anything too rash since the US has a staging area right next door. I am fine with anyone disagreeing with the US doing this, but ...
I may have been that 1 billionith... IF newegg wouldnt have screwed me over with a legendary edition that I received that didnt have the game in the helmet... They told me to keep the helmet and they will refund me. In hind sight it probably wasnt a bad thing since I got KZ2 and I don't think i have time for two big FPS's.
Thank god this veteran mode isn't anything like COD:waw though. that was just ridiculous.
I saw some motherboards with some pretty stout video chips integrated into the MB. Would that be a smart way to go? Recession does not give much to upgrading everything right now... Any ideas to get me by?
