The Vita is not selling at a loss. Sony Hopes that once the components come down in price the PSV sales will takeoff as the price is lowered.

I am pretty sure that the Ps4 will be more powerful but we can't say which console will be more powerful until the official specs of both consoles are released.

Why launch the Ps4 in Japan first? Sony needs to attempt to take back the USA and keep Europe as a stronghold. I know Sony is Japanese but I think they should try create an install base in the rest of the world because the nextbox

I know Sony has some financial trouble but your company is tipped to make a profit this year and the fact that you have an extra 670 000 000 USD after selling your US HQ invest that money in this game studio!!!! I can only dream :( but who knows?:)
Well apple could monopolise the industry in the blink of an eye... not many companies have $130 000 000 000 lying around.
I hope the above does not happen for the sake of the industry no company should have complete monopoly over the market.

What the analyst is trying to say is that MS will become like What Sony is trying to get out of at present The Jack of all trades, master of none.
If Windows marketshare continues to drop there main source of revenue will dwindle and so loss making or slow to make profit devisions will be dropped eg. The xbox brand.
Sony has great designers *see Xperia Z* and In sure that Microsoft has to.
Did u know Sony employs just as much if not more people in the USA than Microsoft.
The biggest problem with the Ps3 was the fact that when Sony was still bloated with cash they did not buyout large publishers eg.2k,Ea,Konami and then lost out on console selling ip's. The problem they have now is that even if the Ps4 is a runaway success, Microsoft has deep enough pockets, they can just purchase one major publisher and suddenly Sony becomes irrelivent. I hope for the good of the industry that what I just mentioned doesn't happen.
The life of Pi is a brilliant film once you connect the dots. Unfortunately most of the audience may not connect the dots and just view the film as is. In the video game market unfortunately the modern coddict probably wouldn't understand and value the touching stories (see ico,soc.) that could be portrayed in a videogame.They just play through mindless shooters blowing off peoples heads and couldn't careless. Its sad but true.
I wouldn't mind if they removed the blu-ray drive and focused on digital and cloud media and used the money they save on excluding the blu-ray player to improve the specs and or add something unique to the console.
