This article is stupid the leaked Durango SDK screen stated that game would not be playable after the disk after installation to harddrive so I assume the NextXbox would erase or corrupt the data on the disk unless I misunderstood something???
The original Xbox was an amazing console and so was the Xbox 360 for a few years but MS has contracted Kutaragi arrogance. At the start of this gen MS made Krazy Ken and co. eat humble-pie. Sony digested that pie and came out a changed company, they have done so much good in the last 5 years. With success MS is now like Sony was in 2005. They are arrogant and seem to be loosing interest in the GAMER. Its those gamers that made the Xbox 360 a success that are starting to get fed up with Micros...

What you guys fail to understand is plain and simple, YES some people may be turned off the Xbox720 if it blocks used games BUT people will be turned off the PS4 if the Xbox720 gets games earlier because publishers will want the majority of momentum to build on the console that blocks used games.

This game may not be as epic a masterpiece as GoW 3 but it is a well polished, fluid and fun game far from a 5/10.This game atleast deserves an 8-8.5. The biggest problem with GoW:A is GoW 3. The bar was set so high that when Ascension just, only just failed to reach the bar set by GoW 3 the media attacked GoW Ascension.

Spot on, these are just rumors and should be treated as such. But these rumor are from reliable sources like Edge and VGleaks and they don't sound good :) It does not benefit anyone, Sony included, if there is no direct hardcore competitor, I hope these rumors aren't true.
No matter how much your inner-fanboy denies this (myself included) you can never really fully put your trust in a multi-billion dollar, money-hungary corporation. I just don't see that happening. Microsoft outsources the production of Xbox consoles. They sell the Xbox at a very low profit margin. The Xbox division's primary source of income is Xbox Live Gold. If SIlver enables online play than Gold subscriptions will drop. So unless MS changes their business model, I am pretty certain the Xbox's online will be subscription based.
