agree for me its the imaginative universe and enemies (childish or not) and the AI
the insanely consistent AI is what gave Halo such engaging firefights
you mean 'couldnt care less'?
they arent grumpy!!
bu most of them aret gaming elitist morons
people diss CoD casue its popular, same with Halo, same with the sims, same with WoW
most of those people are gaming elitist morons
Looking at all their top 10's I am staggered that Shadow of the Colossus is only in one of them
please I want Shenmue 3!!!
Grow up ps3bestever...jezz is this what humanity has come to?
Look forward to most of those but The Last Guardian is the one I am most intrigued by
my top 10
1. Braid
2. Shadow Complex
3. Limbo
4. Geometry Wars 2
5. Rez HD
Braid is the best XBLA title, In fact alot of reviewers thought it could be touted as a best game of all time,
a 93 Metascore even with a 1200MSP (first XBLA to be priced this high) is testament to this
yeah ME2 is a deserved winner. played RDR but I just couoldnt get into it
ME2 just absolutely captivated me from start to finish
oh and the people basing an RPG/action adventure off a demo1?...LOL
how about you listen to the 96 metascore from 100-odd professional reviewers who have actually played the game!
huh, bone headed action shooter trailers?
try ME2, or SOTC
errm no matter how easy or hard a puzzle is.......its still a puzzle numbnutts
even the upgrading weapons bench and inventory system incorporated had puzzle elements weaved into them,
evne it was never tryying to be System Shock so how can it be a dumbed down version? you will find cinema was Dead Space biggest influence
people that say the term 'dumbed down' are usually gaming elitist morons anyway
anything with Super Mario Zelda and Pacman is gonna be instantly recognisable
If I was gonna mention a sound effect from Half Life series I would say the sound effect of the crowbar
makes some good points but I would not called Dead Space a shooter first
for me it was a good mix of puzzles, shooting AND horror, The shooting was never over-the-top enough to dilute the horror IMO. Clarke always felt at least a little vulnerable which is always important
it was very atmospheric with a strong emphasis on its back story and narrative, maybe it wasnt the scariest but a shooter first Dead Space is not
Postal had some good sound effect
my faovurite being wee-wee on flesh
Dead Space 1 got an 8, so impressed with the DS2 score
would get LBP2 but I tend not to play platformers anymore...unfortunately SMG2 got the same treatment
oh and anyone who thinks EDGE are biased against PS3, you are an conspiracy theorist moron.....grow up
hmm would like it to have been a bit earlier if correct
July, August would have been great
we had big snow in the UK over December to
I hope middle of summer, June/July
Portal 2 is already a huge game out in that month
I hope LA Noire get released at a queit time
I think he means PC game development (which isnt near to what it was in the late 90's) not PC gaming in general
Social network gaming and MMO's would stop PC gaming from ever dying but in terms of heavy investment, it isnt even close to the investment being put into console development atm.
PS3 closely followed by PC
RTS's, MMO and military shooters arent my thing
The Last Guardian is one of the reason why I play games, Uncnarted 3 will be the best looking game ever
hell UC2 is still the closest thing games have to a PIXAR animation
