Actually Microsoft's goal is to become like steam. Offer games at stupendous prices and that can only be done when you kill used games and DRM protection. They only didn't go discless because of fans.

Xbox one at least has Skyping while gaming, And the smart TV integration. And some other stuff You can't do on a PC. or not as easily.

With BF4 it had sound issues. It was not the game nor the console. Just technical sound issues.
Who cares? People get to try it out. And probably some of the previous story could be explained in the game too like mass effect did.
I played kingdom hearts on the DS and I'm glad I get to play it on my Xbox One too same goes for Final Fantasy 15.
