Lately ive been eyeing ATI, because of the price to performance. nVidia owns it in the high end, but i dont want to pay 600-700 dollars to ugrade one componend in my PC. The 3870 is very attractive in my opinion. And since im all about the AMD processors, im really excited what they are going to be doing come january/feb.
what if you have eyes and see halo for the piece of trash it is? then what system do you buy? what console do you buy if you already have a great gaming PC that you KNOW gets every xbox "exclusive" that recieves high scores? what then? and my wife loves to play tekken with me. She rules at that game. She also knows the xbox is a piece of garbage. and the wii is for children, old people, and the disabled. Having a passion for gaming and sharing it online with others doesnt mean you have no life. It might actually mean you have a great one.
exactly what makes me qualified to someone claiming this game has amazing graphics, i have EXPERIENCE with quality games. LOL. dood, for reals though, you cant say this looks like pixar. its 128 streams... the gts is meant to be faster than the gt. nvidia panicked when the 3870 was comming, so they released the GT for too cheap. Now they have to revise the GTS and GTX. Sloppy in my opinion. At least ATI is able to keep them on their toes.
x1600 full advantage...yawn. Terrible backgrounds. The only thing half decent looking to me is the character model of the player. The blood is mighty 2d. This looks like VF5 with blood and plain backgrounds, whats so exciting?

you are mistaken. Samsungs 52" LCD is 15,000:1 with 8ms.
5ms is better for gaming.
and im not about to spend 4,000 on a tv. thats rediculous.
