I have only played this at an expo and It just didn't quite have the basic responsiveness and feeling that older mario games nailed.
Still I dare say hitting some 4 player is about as much fun as you can have on a Wii this christmas.

Yeah good point long games like Dragon Age can become a chore towards the end. As long as the game is paced well I'm happy.
