i have a very beefy rig and 24" 1860x1200 but i enjoy my consoles hd res 720p on my hdtv more then running most pc games on high res on my lcd. subjective but thats the way it is :D

i love pc mp gaming but the cod4 maps just arent made for so many people and i really dig the slower pace of the controller version, resisnatnce 60 player is completly different as the maps are layed out for it, i love 60+ mp shooters (as long as the maps can hold it ) played the hell out of every bf title.

gow2 will look great but honestly it wont stunn us, its still ue3 in an updatet form and as long as they didnt completly overwork the lightmodel, polycount (wich is my biggest grype about ue3 - to much normal maps on low geometry) and shaderrendering, we may have to be satisfied with a gow in an updated form (wich will be great enough for me). Dont get me wrong ...
gow was great but it didnt ran on 60 fps, how can you imagine gow2 running at 60fps with updatet graphics ??
thats why i enjoy cod4 more on my ps3 then on the pc those amount of players in cod4 destroys the fun for me the 16 player is more the enough
you can, well i can.
mostly its not that noticable when using hdtv's smalelr then 50" when sitting your normal min 2-3 meters away, but you can also see it on a smaller hdtv's but mostly you have to sit very close, and native 1080p is clearer then an upscaled picture cause you don't have interpolated but only rendered pixels.
