wow you clearly have no clue about color management or colors at all.

Vibrant colors = overbright, shiny, plastic (colors bite each other)
Warm colors = lifelike, better composition, smoother (colors blend in better)

warm colors is NOT washed out
vibrant colors is NOT sharper

i suggest you fire up your army of two or gears of war there you can see the results in changing the color behaviour from vibrant to warm

sorry but isnt it true that the Big multiplattform games released lately shine to get the edge on the ps3 ? Unreal tournament 3, Call of duty 4, Devil may Cry 4, Burnout Paradise, and now gta4. And that trend will continue

Rockstar published and made the ports to the consoles but not the game(ps2/xbox/etc.)

its a 50/50 situation

on one side sure the 360 version offers more so you get extra content, ok thats nice but gta4 is no episodic game. So no matter which version you buy you get the same story, only the 360 gets some more sidestory elements. And personaly if ms doesnt start MASSIVE advertisement that the 360 versions offers more i doubt it will convince people to buy the 360 version rather then the ps3 version.

DX10 is yet to deliver on the pc and the current gen consoles allready make up for it especially the next wave of ps3 games in 09 couse of the opengl structure. But ms will put DX11 in the next box that im pretty sure about.

opengl is still the best api when you want flexibility
