Not only that, but the GoW4 beta came out what, 6 months before the release? TF2 is about 2 months out. Not a whole lot is gonna be changed between now and then. What you're playing in this "Tech Test" is pretty much what you're gonna get as far as game physics go.

I agree. I expected way more from a "next gen" FO game.
Favorite console of all time is the PS1, hands down. JRPG galore. Some of my favorite franchises got their start on the PS1. Also back then, there was just so many good games, granted there was a lot of crap games as well, but some of the biggest devs today seem to of had much more passion in the games they created back then.
