I don't think it's how much stuff you bought off of the PSN store, it's how often you're online using the PlayStation network that will determine if you get in or not.. Look at it this way, why would they want to give a beta spot to someone who's hardly online when the could give it to a more frequent online user and get more feedback ?

I got to say I'm not too fond of M$ business practice and their product reliability (which stopped me from putting a 360 beside my PS3) but I have to give credit where credit is due, they did a good thing for this kid and they should be commended for it...
I just wanted to say Blu-Ray won get over it...
Secondly: we're so faraway from the downloadable era it's not even funny and I got to say, hard copy of HD movie >>> downloading HD movies in the next decade or more. do I need to give countless reason why?
Lastly: the sore losers in here (most likely the people that invested in HD-DVD) are acting like it will be some kinda exclusive feature that they will only use, when in fact Sony would gain way more from HD download seei...
I really hope Sony accept the first few hundred of people who downloads this theme automatically because you know those are the die hard PS3 fans who read the forums and post on the websites, they're the one's who's in tuned with everything PS3 and it would be nice to reward them...
