It is better said, you got 4 games to make up for a breach in PSN which gave out your personal credentials. Open credentials leads to identiy theft, theft of money.

I half-agree with you Thom, I don't believe this logic is "just as flawed" though. I think it just needs refining. But the point still stands, the Xbox is a gaming-machine.
The better way to define whether or not it's a gaming machine is to determine whether or not it was *specifically designed* with gaming in mind. If someone designed a computer with the capabilities to play games, you can't not call it a gaming device.

But the problem is, with little competition they could set the price at whatever they want and no-one can do much about it. Competition forces companies to throw in better deals. Maybe if it weren't for Xbox Live, there's the possibility that Sony could have charged for online gaming.
